“I believe that the Alliance is the key to building a more progressive, social democratic future in Aotearoa/New Zealand. I believe in a society where all people are free from poverty and can access good quality health, education and housing. I believe in a society where people at the grassroots can have a full say in determining their future. Too often decision making is left in the hands of parliamentary, bureaucratic and business elites. The voice of capital should not be the predominant one in a genuinely democratic socialist society.”
“I believe that discrimination on the basis of gender, disability, ethnicity, religious or spiritual belief, sexual orientation or any other status is wrong. Human rights, freedom and dignity should be for all to enjoy.”
