He was born in 1983 in Auckland and grew up in Wellington.

He attended Rathkeale College, Wellington Institute of Technology and Otago Polytechnic.

He is currently employed as a Database Administrator in Nelson. Before this he was 2007 President of the Otago Polytechnic Students’ Association and Student Rep to the Otago Polytechnic Council.

He graduated from the Wellington Institute of Technology (Diploma in Business Computing) and Otago Polytechic (Bachelor of Information Technology).

He is the candidate for the Tertiary Education Spokesperson for the Alliance Party and on the Party List for the 2008 General Election.
